Mm, mmm! Sound good? Just what you wanted for breakfast, right? We got up early for breakfast and drove to the beautiful Chateau Hotel in Tongoriro Nat'l Park. It is an early 20th C
building similar in style to our great national park hotels. Huge comfortable lobbies, big picture windows, etc. However, it feels a bit more formal and less inviting that the bustling park hotels in America. In fact, the lobby and sitting area is empty.
The breakfast buffet looked great at first glance - lots of choices. But when we opened the last chaffing dish we found canned spaghetti and creamed corn. It sort of ruined our appetites. I guess it's a all part of a English breakfast!
