Taupo

After lingering in Rotorua for the morning, we head south towards Lake Taupo. The lake is the second largest lake in the southern hemisphere. At first glance it might remind you of Lake Tahoe. After a short stop at a geothermal power plant, we head into the town of Taupo for a stop, picking up fixings for dinner and breakfast.
