Math & Money matters: divide by 2, mutiply by 5/8

The exchange rate is wonderful and getting more favorable each day! One US$ to 2 NZ$. When we started our trip the NZ dollar was worth 0.52, now it is 0.49. We have been averaging $50 -$60 dollars per day for lodgings, around $75 in Wellington, so this makes our largest daily expense quite affordable.
To convert from kilometers to miles you must mutilply by 5/8. Kind of a useless exercise since one rarely travels very fast on NZ roads.
