Left is right

After departing from the ferry we were picked up by our rent-a-car company. Two cheerful, polite Kiwis loaded our bags into a van and gladly agreed to stop at Mike's office to pick up our larger bags. Then off to their office with Mike chattering with the agent in the front passenger seat. Paul, in the rear of the van, was in a state of high anxiety as he thought the driver was turning his head and writing while driving! Then I explained that the driver was on the right hand side of the car!
We were given a very small Toyota with manual transmission. No problem! Good for mileage!

But let's get this straight, Mate! Drive left, pedal and break right, shift left and pass right! When a pedestrian, look right first, not left. If walking on a sidewalk and meeting opposing walkers, move left, not right. When turning left, left is like right. Enter a roundabout, move left to go right
Got it?? Right!
