In Aotearoa, everything is sacred

Sacred places, sacred mountains, sacred stones, sacred waters, sacred spaces. Many Maori lands, now public spaces, were sacred lands given by the Maori to the people of NZ. We try to tread lightly. But I am reminded of the sign on Paul's office door "All soil is sacred." I wonder as we wash the mud from our shoes, is this, too, sacred?
